Project settings

Configure individual settings for a specific tender response — deadline, timezone override, buyer details, and more.

Project settings apply to a single tender response and override or extend your organisation-wide defaults for that project. Access them from the settings icon on the project page.

    What you can configure

    • Response name and project summary.
    • Submission deadline — set or correct the date and time of the tender's closing deadline. The time is always treated as local to the project timezone (see below).
    • Project Timezone (override) — if the tender was issued in a different country from your organisation's default timezone, set the correct local timezone here. For example, if your organisation is based in New Zealand but the tender is from an Australian buyer, set the project timezone to Australia/Sydney. The deadline will then be displayed as 3:00pm (Australia/Sydney, GMT+11) rather than being converted to your organisation's local time. Leave blank to use your organisation's default timezone.
    • Client — the organisation that issued the tender.
    • Status override — manually set the response to Submitted or Cancelled when appropriate.
    • Outcome — record whether a submitted tender was Won or Lost.

    How deadlines are displayed

    • Deadlines are shown in the format 04 Apr 2026 3:00pm throughout the app — on project cards, the dashboard, and the project header.
    • The timezone label (e.g. Australia/Sydney (GMT+11)) is shown directly below the deadline so the local context is always visible.
    • The timezone shown is the project override if set, otherwise your organisation's default timezone.

    After saving

    • Use the back navigation to return to the project page. Changes are saved when you click Save Changes.
    • Deadline and timezone changes take effect immediately across all deadline displays in the app.
